  1. 30% failure depends what you mean by failure though. if you're talking about players expected to slot into the first team right away is one thing, but some younger players can turn out to be not good enough to make the first team but still promising enough to be sold for enough to break even. That's not lost money.

  2. Statistically 70% would be above average tho

  3. lets be honest its been over 70-30 the other way for uniteds recruitment for last 10 years

  4. Dumb logic because the appreciation of those 70% of players that are successful will outright the cost of the 30% that don’t. That of course applies under the assumption that you are hitting that 70-30 target.
